Our panel of experts -- OK, they play a lot of golf, anyway -- has put together its list of superlatives when it comes to public courses in the Richmond area. We looked at everything from the best greens to the best hot dog at the turn.

The course is conveniently located 3 minutes from I-64, just 10 minutes from Innsbrook Office Park and 20 minutes from downtown
Richmond.
Directions:
I-64 West to Exit 173 (Rockville-Manakin). Turn left onto Route 623. Go 1 mile to the stop light at Route 250. Turn right going West. Go 7/10 of a mile to Route 621
(Manakin Road) and turn right. Entrance is the 1st on the right. From Rt. 288, take Broad St. West to Rt 621(Manakin Rd.) go right and the course is on the right.
